    Attire:

  • Participants: Dress Whites
  • Military Guests: Uniform of the Day
  • Civilian Guests: Appropriate Attire

  • My mother-in-law asked what appropriate attire is for civilians at a retirement ceremony. I said, "How am I supposed to know? I'm a Sailor!" I've seen men where suits and women dresses. I've seen people dress causally: in khaki pants and a polo shirt. Just don't come dressed as a clown - I'm gonna be the only clown present.
